Paperfundays Challenge inspiration

This month for http://paperfundaychallenges.blogspot.com/?m=1 I got to use this cute kit from www.mirtillamentecraftshop.it/digital-papers/335-winter-time-no1-a4.html

I used three of the sheets from the kit to create this 5 x 7 card. I kept it simple with just some silver Mirror card as my matt layers and finished the card with some pearl effect dots.

I love how the papers compliment each other so nicely and the sentiment topper was just perfect!

Don't forget to check out the challenge on the link above and have fun creating something fun so you can join in too!

We look forward to seeing your entries

Simple yet beautiful card making

Sometimes thr simplest cards are the most beautiful and they certainly don't need loads of supplies, as I have demonstrated with this months inspiration for http://paperfundaychallenges.blogspot.com/?m=1

For this months inspiration I have used an image called Panda on a branch by Lee Holland https://www.etsy.com/listing/1151540084/panda-on-a-branch-card-making-colouring which I have then coloured using my Black Widow pencil colours.

I recently did a review on Black widow pencils and if you would like to check it out you can find it here https://youtu.be/9dG7PrCmbo0

I mounted the image on scrap cardstock and fussy cut it.

I made a card base out of Papermilldirect green cardstock that measures 4 × 6"

I cut a piece of Marvellous Marble cardstock from Love to Craft and adhered it straight onto the base.

I cut a second piece of green Papermilldirect cardstock to 4 × 6" and die cut Everglades Collage from Memory Box into the centre. I then took a page from Pretty Pegs paper stack cut it to the same size and again die cut the centre.

I then adhered the two together. Next I glued my panda image onto the aperture before securing all of this to the base.

I embellished using handmade flowers and some Rhubarb Crumble Nuvo drops.

Simple green and gold card

This month I was challenged to make a green and gold card for http://paperfundaychallenges.blogspot.com/?m=1

I knew exactly the collection that was needed for this card....Inkdrops Ocean from Craft Consortium. Its absolutely stunning and has greens with gold mixed in running through the papers.

I used Papermilldirect green card stock to create my base which is roughly 6 × 4" I then layered a solid green piece of Inkdrops Ocean on that base before cutting panels from my scrap pieces and layering my card. I die cut two circles using my Daisy Mae stitched circles from my offcuts of the paperpad and popped them up on foam pads.

Finally I die cut hello from gold mirror card and scrap white card before adhering them together and placing them across the middle of the circle.

To finish the card I have used Nuvo Crystal drops in Mustard gold and Pale gold.

Large Easel card

Today I am sharing an easel card I made for the http://paperfundaychallenges.blogspot.com/?m=1 using a design kit from Polkadoodles called Whinnies Sugar Sprinkles which you can find https://www.polkadoodles.co.uk/winnie-sugar-sprinkles-springtime-design-sheet-4-printable-crafting-digital-stamp-craft-scrapbooking-download/

I have created a video to accompany this card blog post which you can watch here https://youtu.be/JtDpHYftUYs I would love it if you would subscribe to my YouTube channel while your over there!

For this card I used plain cardstock which measured 8.5 x 9.5" and I scored on the 9.5" side at 4.75" and then again half way between the score line and the end of the cardstock.

The plain matt layers measured 8 3/8 × 2 1/4 and 8 3/8 × 4 5/8" respectively.

The pattern paper was cut to 8 1/8 × 2" and 8 1/8 × 4 3/8" then the kit pieces were mounted on top.

The matt layers around my topper left roughly a 1/8" boarder from my main image.
